SharkHouse NJ (“SharkHouse,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates sharkhousenj.com (the “Site”), which advertises and facilitates bookings for two vacation rental properties — Tiger West and Mako East — located at 209 40th Street, Sea Isle City, NJ 08243. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information you give us. When you submit a booking inquiry, checkout form, or contact us directly, we collect the information you provide, which may include your name, email address, phone number, requested check-in/check-out dates, number of guests, and any notes or messages you send us.
Information collected automatically.Like most websites, our Site and the third-party tools embedded on it may automatically collect certain technical information when you visit, including your IP address, browser type, device type, pages viewed, and referring website, typically through cookies or similar tracking technologies. We use the information we collect to respond to booking inquiries and guest checkout submissions, send booking confirmations and related communications, check property availability, operate and improve the Site, and comply with legal obligations. Third-Party Services
We use a small number of third-party services to operate the Site and our booking process. Each may collect or process limited data on our behalf, subject to its own privacy practices:
- Resend— sends booking confirmation and inquiry emails on our behalf using the information you submit in our forms.
- RentalBell— powers the availability calendars embedded on our property pages.
- Matterport— powers the embedded 3D virtual tours of Tiger West and Mako East.
- Elfsight— powers the guest reviews widget shown on the Site.
- Cloudinary— hosts and serves the property photos displayed throughout the Site.
- Vercel— hosts the Site and may log standard server/request data for security and performance purposes.
- Instagram and Facebook— our footer links to our social media profiles on these platforms; visiting those platforms is governed by their own privacy policies, not this one.
Cookies & Tracking Technologies
The Site currently does not use advertising or analytics tracking cookies of our own. However, some of the third-party embeds described above (in particular the reviews widget, availability calendars, and 3D tour) may set their own cookies or use similar technologies to function correctly or to collect basic usage statistics for their providers. If we add analytics or advertising tracking in the future, we will update this policy and, where required by law, present a cookie consent notice before those cookies load.
